Another easy option: Save the PDF to your desktop. And then print by right-clicking the file. That will move the print function from e*Trade to Adobe, which should have better luck.

I'm with Tom.  "Export as PDF" should be your first instinct in mollification of troublesome PDF instances (and they're out there in abundance).

 

I personally suspect multiple defects, including the E*Trade output and the exception-handling in your printer driver.  Feel free to tell E*Trade that you know a guy who'll explain to them what they need to do to eliminate this error, if they claim inability to fix it on their side.
