Unfortunately, I had issues with both sides (tech and business) at the
house I owned in Hamilton, NY. We had a problem with current flowing from
the cable to ground. When the cable from the pole was disconnected before
reaching the service entrance the problem went away. They kept telling me
the problem was in the house. I had to turn off the main electrical breaker
and also get the city electrical folks out there before they would believe
the problem was on their side. It turned out that the cable was not
properly grounded at the pole.Several hours wasted because a couple of
Spectrum techs didn't understand electricity.
