[Ipg-smz] Facebook is bad for your mental health

I decided over the weekend to stop posting or replying to ANY political posts
on Facebook. I've found myself getting into needless arguments (including with
many folks on this list) - you know who you are :-) It rarely changes their
mind. It rarely changes my mind. It rarely adds missing information. And while
discussions have been for the most part cordial and considerate, and indeed at
times have helped me gain perspective on the counter view, the upside has not
outweighed the downside and the S/N ratio is abysmal.

My own anecdotal data says I'm vastly happier without Facebook. It's toxic.
