Official Bio

I’ve been in love with the written word since childhood, and enjoy working with just about any topic–especially if I’m talking to someone who’s enthusiastic about it.

I’ve been a journalist, web writer, and editor for over 15 years, covering everything from dead voters to 3D food printers to big data and predictive analytics.

Unlike most people here, I’m not a geek myself–rather, my role is to translate Geekspeak into English that anyone can understand. I also cover non-geeky stuff like careers, travel, classic cars, and lifestyles.

When I’m not doing those things, I write advertorials and video scripts and do executive profiles for a headhunting firm.

I love it all.

You can see writing samples on my website, www.TeresaMeek.com. Thanks for visiting.
