Bill Howard is a contributing editor of pcmag.com (nee PC Magazine) and its blogs, especially Gearlog, Car Tech (former Technoride.com). He was an executive editor of PC Magazine for 15 years and columnist. Now he specializes in:

  • Car technology
  • Mobile technology (laptops, mobile communications)
  • Digital imaging
  • Weird, geeky stuff that everyone else is writing about, too
  • Ease of use issues

At PC Magazine, Bill was honored six times by the Computer Press Association for his writing and also was named several times to Marketing Computers’ list of the industry’s list of 15 most influential editors and writers.

A recent interest has been social networking and non-profits, working with Cornell University and the BMW Car Club.
