Ed Tittel is a full-time freelance writer based in Round Rock, TX. The author of over 100 computer trade books, he’s also the creator of the Exam Cram series of IT certification prep books. In his 30-plus years as a writer on computing topics, Ed has written for numerous magazines including many from IDG, CMP, Ziff-Davis, and numerous other sources and imprints. Today, Ed contributes regularly to various TechTarget Web sites, GoCertify.com, and Tom’s IT Pro. His most recent books are Beginning HTML5 & CSS3 For Dummies (now in its 14th edition), and Guide to TCP/IP (5th edition). Ed’s strongest areas of technical/computing interest and expertise include Windows platforms, markup languages, and IT security topics.
